Mission Statement

MERIT is a proactive member-led organisation that promotes best practice and offers support to those members who are, or are thinking of, embracing information and communication technology (ICT).

Our aim is to engage in a constant dialogue with all of our members to ensure we deliver services and support that is of value to them and that will, ultimately, manifest itself in measurable benefits.

We will always attempt to provide our members with support that is appropriate and useful and helps them to achieve their goals.

A focused approach, aided by lively debate with, and amongst our members, the exchange of ideas and joint collaboration, will ensure that MERIT continues to be a major force in the changing face of ICT in the North West.

We want to ensure that our members are aware of and able to use the best ICT techniques and technologies available.
