Networking

A key activity for MERIT is the networking aspect to everything that we do. It is through networking that we can provide support, offer cost effective solutions and raise the potential for doing business with each other.

By attending merit events you will be able to meet and network with people from all kinds of organisations and keep in touch with your ever increasing sphere of business contacts.

You should be proactive about networking and use the event delegate list to seek out people you're interested in talking to about business. When registering for an event you can specify the kind of business referral you are currently seeking and merit will aim to invite organisations and individuals of interest to you.

Merit is not a sales forum but allows its delegatesthe opportunity to network with each other in a non-threatening environment. Nobody will try to sell you anything at a merit event, but you do have the opportunity to meet people and tap in to each others network of contacts to assist each other in your own endeavours.

Remember, bring plenty of business cards with you to the events as you will meet lots of people.
